TedxBeijing 13th November 2010

We’re proud to announce that No Go Die’s DJ Slide (Jonathan Smith) will be partnering with TedxBeijing to provide the music experience for the annual Tedx event on November 13, 2010.

Slide will be the first act of the day,  performing a specially composed piece around the theme of “Uncovering Innovation”. Expect to hear traditional Chinese opera combined with cutting-edge electronic rhythms as an explosive introduction to the Ted experience.

Additionally, Slide will be hand-picking “stinger” tracks for speaker intros, as well as performing 15 minute eclectic mini-mixes to keep the energy high and the creative energy flowing.

“It’s a huge privilege to be creating part of the TED experience here in Beijing. Innovation is at the core of No Go Die’s ethos and so creating a soundtrack around that theme is an exciting challenge.”

A one-day exploration of how innovation in all its forms and across disciplines is happening in this city. A total of 200 spots are reserved for audience members, while thousands more will join from across the country via satellite events.
