DJ Slide

A DJ since the age of 14, Slide constantly strives to keep his sound as diverse as possible. Residencies in the UK, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro and Beijing have all helped to shape the full array of rhythms and melodies you’ll find in his sets. A founding member of the Syndicate (Beijing) in 2004, he is also one of a handful of DJs that can claim to have played at the legendary Yen parties on the Great Wall of China.

As one of the only DJs in Asia to be playing a blend of afro- and funk-inspired broken beats, Slide also brings these influences to his studio productions, encompassing a range of styles from sun-drenched dub through funk and breakbeat to drum’n’bass.

Always keep things fresh, Slide works brand new material into his DJ sets, meaning that you’ll hear brand new studio tracks in every set. Razor-tight scratching and cutting bring extra energy to the mix, leading to a varied, raw and deep sound that is hand-crafted for the dancefloor.
